Keynote 1
Decoding Rape
Few other issues invoke emotional, divisive, and visceral responses like the discourse on rape. For each reported rape case, there are thousands of unreported cases all over the world. The voices of survivors and their families are often missing or muted.
This keynote communicates the unsaid, the glossed over, the ignored and the hidden about rape. The talk decodes rape by humanizing those it impacts; unveiling the power of language in hiding and perpetuating rape; and unmasking perpetrators and their enablers.
Audiences increase their understanding of the magnitude and the underlying drivers of rape and its destructive impact; and are equipped and challenged to take actions that create rape free environments in their spheres of influence.

Rape Free World-Becoming a Life-long Champion
Few life experiences inflict life-long internal and external damage and pain to those who experience them than rape. The long-term impact of rape on survivors, if they survive; their families and communities are often hidden, shattering and devastating.
The conventional understanding and response to rape by diverse stakeholders, including the Church seem ineffective in slowing the down the increasingly gory incidents of rape.
This keynote creates awareness on the magnitude and drivers of rape. It encourages and inspires the audience to take a bold stand for a rape free world and offers them actionable steps in becoming life-long champions of rape free world in their spheres of influence.

Workshop 1
Understanding Why Rape Persists
This workshop unpacks the drivers of rape, exposes individual and institutional culpabilities in sustaining a rape tolerant world; and examines the weaknesses of the traditional responses to the problem of rape. Designed primarily for the curious and skeptics, audiences are equipped with creative and bold actions that can prevent rape incidents before they occur; and steps they can take to create and sustain rape free environments in their spheres of influence.
Workshop 2
Championing a Rape Free World
This is a customized capacity building series of workshops designed for churches and parachurches open to championing the vision of a rape free world. The first workshop is a vision casting session; the second workshop equips the audience to overcome the silence and shame that limit their responses to rape. Subsequent sessions offer deep dive into the drivers of a rape tolerant world and provides tactics for creating and sustaining rape free environments. The takeaways include unpacking the faith community’s culpabilities, re-framing the understanding and response to rape, and steps critical for responding to the problem of rape through the Biblical paradigm.
